Winter Memories Helpbook & Heroine Routes! Welcome to the ultimate (and slightly sarcastic) guide to Winter Memories! If you want to maximize your chances with the heroines (or simply avoid going broke before New Year’s), here are all the tips you need.

First, Don’t Be an Amateur

Before you go clicking everything, MAKE THE DIARY WORK FOR YOU. Get the “Power of Time” skill as soon as possible. It cuts action time in half, and you’ll need that extra time to chase money and hearts. Other essential skills:

• Infinite Film (no more camera battery headaches)
• Treasure Hunter (required for some routes)
• Lockpicking (essential for Kagami and for breaking into bathrooms… because of course you would do that)
• Nightwalker (for Kanae and for making money late at night)
• At least one Perversion skill (if you want any chance with Yui)
• Social Skills 1 & 2 (helps you not sound like a complete idiot in conversations)

Time Slots & Conversations

Game time slots:

• Morning 08:00 – 12:00
• Afternoon 12:00 – 16:00
• Evening 16:00 – 19:00
• Night 19:00 – 00:00 (if you don’t have the Nightwalker skill, you pass out at 22:00)
• Late Night 00:00 – 03:00
• Dawn 03:00 – 08:00

You can talk to each character once per time slot. The trick is to keep their mood above 80, as this ensures you get the maximum +10 affection per interaction.

Golden Tip: If you max out a heroine’s mood in the morning, you can just chat once for the rest of the day and still get the same +10 affection. Time is money, my friend!

Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees (But It Fishes Well on New Year’s)

The waiter mini-game is the best way to make quick money. If you get a “Perfect” score, you can earn between ¥6000 and ¥9000 per round. The trick is to play it near the end of a time slot, so you save time.

Another option is fishing on 01/01. On this day, you unlock “King of Games,” which allows you to skip mini-games. This means instant fishing and selling everything to the “Fisherman Man.” Stock up on bait and spend the whole day fishing like your life depends on it. (Because it does.)

Heroine Routes (or How Not to Die Alone)

Yui – The Almost Innocent Nerd

1. Start by helping with studies (Math Drills)
2. Level up perversion (Perversion 50)
3. New Year’s? Time for calligraphy!
4. With 100 affection, bed. Literally.

Rio – The Paranoid Photographer

1. Take 5 photos (of anything, no need for art)
2. Take a photo of the Offerings Box and the Candy Store
3. Gather 150 Stamina and 30 photos
4. With 100 affection, “zoom in” on the relationship

Miyuki – The House Fairy

1. Wash the dishes (who knew this would ever help in romance?)
2. Cook a simple stew
3. Clean 5 dirty rooms
4. Find a way to keep the uncle out of the house

Akari – The Menko Queen

1. Defeat Akari, Shiori, and Kouta in Menko
2. Reach level 5 and talk to her before nightfall
3. Defeat Akari and the Three Menko Hunters
4. Rescue Akari at the park and finish the game

Kagami – The Trainer

1. Get the Lockpicking Skill and knock on her door
2. Give her a toy (Shrine Hint)
3. Buy a sleeping mask
4. Knock on her door in the morning and complete the route
